Yokohama, Japan, June 22, 2026 — WHILL, Inc., a global leader in personal mobility solutions, today announced it has been selected as the official personal mobility provider for GREEN×EXPO 2027, the 2027 World Horticultural Exposition to be held in Yokohama, Japan. Through this partnership, WHILL will operate a fleet rental service at the exposition grounds, enabling visitors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to explore the expansive venue comfortably and at their own pace.


GREEN×EXPO 2027 is scheduled to run from March 19 to September 26, 2027, across a 247-acre (approximately 100-hectare) site in Yokohama—with 80 hectares designated as active exposition grounds. The event is expected to draw more than 10 million visitors from around the world.

At GREEN×EXPO 2027, WHILL vehicles will be available for rental near the main entrance gate, giving visitors immediate access to accessible mobility from the moment they arrive. The service is designed to help attendees cover the full extent of the venue without fatigue, encouraging longer stays and deeper engagement with the exposition's exhibits and natural landscapes.
